Dandelion Happiness card by Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Australi

Dandelion Happiness

If you are a regular visitor to my blog you’ll know I love sweeping images across my cards is one of my favourite techniques and that I really love the Blueberry Bushel In Colour.

This card uses both so it’s a favourite and one we made in my Dandelion Wishes class.

First I stamped my little Dandelion flowers across my card in Blueberry Bushel.  Using Pool Party I used the little dotty stamp from Timeless Textures to stamp around my flowers.  I finished off by adding some little Basic Rhinestone jewels throughout the flowers.

The Blueberry Bushel Ribbon finished off my card perfectly!  The sentiment is such a lovely sentiment and just pops in Blueberry Bushel.

Good Morning!  Today I have for you some sweet projects made quickly and easily with the Notes of Kindness Project Kit

Notes of Kindess Alternate Projects from Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Australia

These two cards were lots of fun and super easy to make using the Notes of Kindness Project Kit.  I did use sentiments from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set for these cards as I wanted a different sentiment to the ‘thank you’ theme of the set.

I love how easy Stampin’ Up! make their card kits!

The label and the succulent are die cuts you simply press out of the sheet. I did add some stamped leaves on the card base to give it a little more depth.  The leaves were stamped in Soft Sea Foam.  The label I stamped the background strip in Petal Pink then the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss.

I’ve also added some Rose Metallic Thread, Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon and the pearls to add some elegance to the card.

I popped my banner onto my card using dimensionals.  Now as the back of the banner is covered in adhesive I patted the back with my embossing buddy to remove the adhesive after applying my Dimensionals.  This means the banner will stay layered with dimensionals and not stick down flat where it’s not supposed to.

I’ve used the Gold Twine from the kit behind my flower and added some pearls.  The little hello is stamped on the label and I’ve snipped one side to create the flag type edge.

Do you love this kit? Did you know it’s on sale this week with the World Card Making Day specials?  It would make an awesome Christmas Gift – either made up or for the recipient to make up!  No reason you cant start your Christmas Shopping now – after all its only 12 weeks away!

Freshly Brewed Projects with the Latte Girls BLog Hop

Dashing Deer

I love this sweet Dashing Deer Stamp Set and Framelits Bundle.  It’s so very versatile. It’s great for all sorts cards both Christmas and general.

Dashing Greetings using Dashing Deer Stamp Set by Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Australia

This such a fun and easy card to make.  The Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper Pack is the perfect paper to add a little glitz and glimmer to this card.  While it looks like I have a full panel of the Copper Glimmer behind the white embossed panel it’s actually just a couple of 5mm strips top and bottom. Tricks like this will extend those sheets of gorgeous Glimmer Paper.  I’ve also cut the Dashing Deer from the Glimmer paper as well.

The centre white panel is embossed with the Swirls and Curls Embossing Folder.  It gives such a lovely elegant look.  I’ve tied a piece of the double sided Merry Merlot and Copper Shimmer Ribbon.

The sentiment is stamped on Shimmery White with Versamark then Copper Heat Embossed. I’ve then adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

This is one of those great cards that you could easily make multiples of and just assemble in front of the TV.  I know whoever you chose to give or send this sweet card to will love it and proudly display it on their shelf.

I do hope you liked what the girls have made for you today and you took the time to leave them a comment.

Happiness Blooms Memories & More Card Pack

Happiness Blooms

I love our Memories and More Card packs for quick and easy cards for those times you just need a quick card. Now that we have the coordinating Cards and Envelopes to match it makes it even easier!

Here’s a super quick large card I made using the pack …

This card was made by simply adhering one of the 6×4 cards to the coordinating Note Card. I simply added a small bow and a few rhinestones to lift it up.

This second card I added a strip of ribbon to before adhering it to the 3×4 Notecard base then attached the bow on top with a glue dot. To lift this card I simply added some of the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots randomly.

You can see the dots better in this picture. They coordinate perfectly and give the card that tactile effect.

Simple, fun and fast cards – perfect! Stampin’ Up! have simply thought of everything so we dont have to!

You can grab these items today to start making your fast, fun and simple cards to delight your friends and family …

Retiring In Colors

Good Afternoon and welcome to another Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop with the Latte Girls. This week we are creating projects using the Retiring In Colors

Freshly Brewed Projects with the Latte Girls

Retiring In Colors

If you dont know what the ‘In Colors’ are they are a set of 5 Colours that Stampin’ Up! bring into our range for a period of 2 years with a new set of 5 each year. Considering our artists develop these colours up to 2 years in advance they are pretty on target with the yearly Pantone colours.

These are the colours we will be farewelling at the end of May …

2017-2019 In Colors - buy now before they are gone - Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Australia

I know a lot of people, me included, will be sorry to see Lemon Lime Twist retire.

If you have some or all of these Retiring In Colours I’d suggest you check your supply of cardstock, ribbons, ink refills and embellishments and stock up now before the retiring list is released in a couple of weeks. These items tend to sell out quickly and sometimes even before the Retiring List is released.

Here’s card I’ve created for you today …

Dear Doily retiring In Colors by Leonie Schroder Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Australia

I needed something quick and easy for today’s card and this one fit the bill. I’ve been a bit time challenged up to leaving for the New Zealand trip and I’d realised late Saturday I still needed to make a card for today. So some simple stamping was called for.

Now I will tell you I had a little giggle when looking for a sentiment to add. See I was flicking through the Catalogue and came across the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set. I thought I could use ‘I miss You’ and then I spied ‘enjoy your retirement’! However, I opted for this sweet sentiment from the Well Said Stamp Set. I cut one of the doilies from the Framelits pack to pop behind my sentiment. A punched Vellum circle popped behind my Doily cut out was the perfect addition so that it didnt get lost in the pattern behind.

To create my Panels on the front of my card I cut four strips 102mm x 35mm. I then laid them together and stamped my doilies in the Retiring In Colors. They are adhered to a Whisper White Card Base with dimensionals. Super quick and Super easy to do!

Let’s go hopping …

Now it’s time to hop around and see what the other Latte Girls have made for you today …

I do hope you enjoyed the projects included in today’s Blog Hop. Leave a comment for the girls and let them know you stopped by.

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you like today’s sweet little Ellie Easel Card.
